Perfect Practice is an advanced IPSC shooting training aid, which allows you to use your iPhone or iPod to select from dozens of practice drills (currently over 60, and more coming).

The drills are conveniently grouped by topics, so you can select a drill for the topic you want to train.

When you view a practice drill, tilting your iPhone sideways will provide you a full screen view of the drill layout, which you can zoom into as needed. Pressing the info button on any drill page will provide more information and tips about how to set up, shoot, and improve in these drills.

If you shake your iPhone when in the category view, a random drill will be selected from amongst all the drills. However, if you shake your iPhone when already in a particular category, or when viewing a drill, a random drill will be selected from within that category.

Pros and cons of Perfect Practice app for iPhone and iPad

Perfect Practice app good for

Pretty awesome app. The one thing I would like to see, is some quick videos incorporated in it. Other then that good job!
Lots of great drills. Very well put together. I really like the random drill feature. Helps keep traing fresh.
This app is a great solution and concept created by a top ipsc shooter for the masses! It is a great tool for the average and advanced shooter to gain a different perspective and develop ideas for both dry and live fire practice. The layout is simple and the app is easy to navigate overall. This app is designed for ipsc practice but its not applicable to uspsa shooting as everything is in meters and the targets are ipsc standard... An in app setting to switch target types and distance measurements (to yards or feet) would make this a truly universal app that every shooter could use without the use of a conversion table. Overall, its a great app because it provides ideas and drills for all levels of shooters to practice with. But as stated before, if it were more interchangeable between competitive disciplines, it would be a slam dunk! About the price.... Yes, it is a bit high for an iPhone app... But it does give a glimpse of how a top ipsc shooter practices and approaches the mental aspects of our sport.. Short of going to an expensive seminar, its the next best thing. 19.99 seems reasonable enough to gain a new perspective on training exercises, and support a shooter that has developed, marketed and brought numerous products, concepts and materials to our sport for all to benefit from. Thank you-
